HOLY SHiRE, nuovo ingresso in roster

Gli HOLY SHiRE entrano nel roster della Ghost Record per la promozione e distribuzione del nuovo album che attualmente è in fase di realizzazione. La band ha pubblicato l’album “The Legendary Shepherds of the Forest” disponible in digitale e in formato fisico, nei nostri stores e via crashsound distribution.

La passione per il mondo fantasy e l’imprescindibile necessità di esprimersi attraverso la musica ha fatto nascere nel 2009 gli HOLY SHiRE, da un’idea di Maxx (batterista) alla
quale ha subito aderito Aeon (dragon vocals), entrambi parte di un precedente progetto di inediti di fine anni ’90.
Il concept artistico si basa sulla commistione di differenti generi musicali che spaziano dal metal melodico epico alle suggestioni celtiche e folk, passando da influenze power e prog, arricchito dal gusto per la musica cinematografica e per le colonne sonore. Testi e musica raccontano storie fantastiche, con omaggi assidui al mondo tolkeniano, ma anche
qualche spunto legato a leggende o al fascino di vicende storiche antiche, per portare l’ascoltatore in un mondo lontano dalla realtà, in un viaggio sensoriale suggestivo e
magico. La formazione è più volte cambiata negli anni e attorno ai fondatori si sono avvicendati vari musicisti e cantanti, ma la caratteristica permanente della band è avere due voci femminili con differenti stili vocali e un flauto traverso nella line up, oltre alla classica formazione metal.
L’ auto-produzione musicale ha dato la luce ad un iniziale demo, seguito da un digital EP e due album “Midgard” (Bakerteam Records, 2014) e “The Legendary Shepherds of the
Forest” (Heavy Metal Records, 2018), portati live in innumerevoli show in locali rock/metal e festival a tema. Il 2023 è l’anno del ritorno in studio per la registrazione
del terzo album con 10 nuove canzoni.

HOLY SHiRE sign with Ghost Record Label for the promotion and distribution of the new album which is currently under construction. The band has released the album “The Legendary Shepherds of the Forest” available in digital and physical format, in our stores and via crashsound distribution.

The passion for the fantasy world and the essential need to express through music gave birth to HOLY SHiRE in 2009, from an idea of Maxx (drummer) immediately joined by Aeon (dragon vocals), both part of a previous original music late 1990s project.
The artistic concept is based on a blend of different musical genres, ranging from melodic epic metal to Celtic and folk suggestions, through power and prog influences, enriched by a taste for cinematic music and soundtracks. Texts and music narrate fantastic stories, with assiduous tributes to the Tolkien world, but also some hints linked to legends or the fascination of ancient historical episodes, to take the listener into a world far from reality, into an evocative and magical sensory journey.
The line-up has changed several times over the years, and various musicians and singers have joined the founders, but the permanent feature of the band line up is performing two female voices with different vocal stylings and a flute, in addition to the classic metal line-up.
The band’s self-produced music gave birth to the first demo, followed by a digital EP and two albums: ‘Midgard’ (Bakerteam Records, 2014) and ‘The Legendary Shepherds of the Forest’ (Heavy Metal Records, 2018), which were played live at countless shows in rock/metal venues and festivals. 2023 is the year they return to the studio to record their third album with 10 new songs.
