Fuori da oggi “Tales From Hell”, il nuovo album dei Darkhold. Tutto pronto inoltre per il Release Party di stasera all’Ufo Rock Pub di Mozzo (BG), dove si potranno acquistare i cd anche in versione vinile più altri gadget della band.

Le 9 canzoni che compongono “Tales From Hell”, i cui diversi protagonisti sono famosissimi personaggi di storie e fiabe secolari (senza tempo ma sempre attualissime) che hanno accompagnato la crescita di ognuno di noi, non sono collegate fra loro come un concept vero e proprio ma hanno tutte il medesimo filo conduttore, l’ucronia: cosa sarebbe successo se tali personaggi avessero compiuto scelte diverse da quelle comunemente conosciute e avessero imboccato strade pericolose e senza ritorno? Pinocchio, peter pan, hansel e gretel, tarzan, alice nel paese delle meraviglie, il gobbo di notre dame, cappuccetto rosso, la bella e la bestia, il pifferaio magico: 9 realtà letterarie distopiche ma concretamente terribili e contemporanee, odierne rappresentanti dei famigerati e crudeli gironi infernali danteschi, in una mefitica processione alla ricerca di un ultimo barlume di redenzione come monito alle generazioni odierne e al loro futuro. Il darkhold ne assorbirà i peccati e le renderà finalmente libere o ne amplificherà le mostruose caratteristiche condannandole a una sofferenza eterna?

“Tales From Hell”
“Tales From Hell” is built up by 9 songs, where the main characters are renowed figures of secular tales and fables (out of time but always current) whom we growed up with; they are not bound as a real concept but joined by a main leitmotif: ucrony: what should be happened if these characters had made choices so far away from those we all know and had taken a dangerous no return path? Pinocchio, peter pan, hansel and gretel, tarzan, alice in wonderland, the hunchback of notre dame, little red riding hood, the beauty and the beast, the pied piper: 9 dystopian literature, so horribly contemporary, modern-day depictions of notorious and cruel dante circles of hell, all together in a mephitic procession , searching for a last glimmer of redemption as a warning to today generation and its future. Will the darkhold absorb their sins and let them free at last or will it amplify their monstrous features in a final eternal suffering conviction?
